Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how David Bragg Travel ("DBT," "I," "me," or "my") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website or engage my services. By using this website or working with me, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information I Collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out my trip inquiry form, book a call, sign a Client Agreement, or email me directly, I collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, and details about your travel plans and preferences. Depending on your trip, this may also include passport information, dates of birth, and other details required to book travel on your behalf.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site collects some information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your browser type, device information, general location, and how you interact with the site. This helps me understand how the site is used and keep it running smoothly.

2. How I Use Your Information

I use your information to respond to inquiries, plan and book your travel, communicate with you before, during, and after your trip, and improve this website. I do not use your information for purposes unrelated to planning and supporting your travel.

3. How I Share Your Information

To book and coordinate your travel, I share relevant information with the Suppliers involved in your trip, including hotels, airlines, tour operators, and ground transportation providers, as well as with SmartFlyer, the host travel agency I'm affiliated with. I also work with a small number of service providers who help me operate my business, including my scheduling platform, form provider, and website host, each of whom only receives the information necessary to perform their function.

I do not sell your information to third parties.

4. Cookies & Analytics

This website may use cookies and analytics tools to understand visitor activity in aggregate. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of this site function.

5. Data Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

I retain your information for as long as needed to provide my services and meet legal, tax, and business record-keeping obligations.

7. Your Choices

You may contact me at any time to ask what information I have on file, request corrections, or request that I delete information I'm not required to retain. I'll do my best to accommodate reasonable requests.

8. Third-Party Links

This site and my communications with you may include links to third-party sites, including Supplier websites and my Virtuoso booking portal. I'm not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and I encourage you to review their policies directly.

9. Photographs & Marketing

As described in my Terms and Conditions, I may photograph or video moments from client trips and share them on my website or social media for marketing purposes. You may opt out by notifying me in writing before your trip.

10. Children's Privacy

This website and my services are not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 except as necessary to book travel on behalf of a minor traveling with a parent or guardian I'm already working with.

11. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; changes are effective when posted to this website.
